She makes it look so easy!
Historically, November has not been a month I typically schedule Brain Gym 101 because of the beginnings of holiday madness, but we had a lovely group of therapists, parents, college students and professionals come together to learn Brain Gym! A participant practicing "Arm Activation", one of the 26 Brain Gym movements. One of the participants working on a balance to improve writing skills. One of the participants doing the integration metaphor as part of repatterning. Below, challenging balance and waking up the whole brain while doing "Hook-Ups". She makes it look so easy! Another effect of "Hook Ups" is that it makes one feel more positive about any challenging task. We can all use a dose of this, especially during the holidays! Practicing the "Energizer" as a group! Breathing and moving. It was a lovely group of people exploring how movement improves learning and ease of moving through life. Hope that you can join us in a future class! I was lucky to be able to speak to a group of women and mothers who were looking for ways to empower themselves and their children in regards to health, wellness and learning. Preparing to speak to the parents who came to learn about Brain Gym. All of the participants were so open and receptive to the information that I was giving. Here I was speaking about the importance of adequate hydration with my assistant, "Singing Rosie". Demonstrating how neurons transmit electrical impulses through the synapse with a brave volunteer. " Hi Mari,
Thanks for a STELLAR performance. Your presence really enhanced our event. We’ve gotten incredible feedback. Thanks again." Chana Lew, JWHO I will be doing a talk for Jewish Women's Health Organization(JWHO) which is being put together by the fabulous Chana Lew and her partner Shayna.
